CELIFA Course Contents
The CELIFA course offers a wide and comprehensive introduction to successful International Financial Planning. The course includes not only vital technical knowledge but also invaluable techniques and best practices to ensure that all CELIFA-qualified consultants commence their careers armed with the right tools, but also the right attitude, for the job.
After new delegates are introduced to the training environment and their fellow delegates, the course begins with an introduction to UK and International Financial Services and an outlining of the importance of professional financial planning.
Delegates are invited to share their views and opinions throughout the course. In particular it is interesting to see how delegates’ attitudes to many financial matters are challenged and changed over the duration of the training programme.
The module including ‘Product-out versus Client-In Selling’ dispels many misconceptions about the role of the professional financial planner. International Financial Advisers are professional advisers first and foremost, and product providers second.
Delegates are introduced to the common business cycle in financial services and this leads into the most important area of all; Factfinding.
Successful completion of the Factfind, which includes all of the client’s current financial holdings but also indicates preferences and aspirations, is paramount to good financial planning.
