Why must I be CELIFA Qualified?

  • Give yourself the best possible start to your new career

Without undertaking the CELIFA course, joining an International Financial Services brokerage can be a lottery. Your CELIFA course will not only teach you how to do the job, but also show you the things you should be looking for in seeking the ideal brokerage to work with. Many of the best International Brokerages will be reluctant to employ a new consultant without any prior financial services training or experience.

  • Prove to prospective employers that you have the skills and knowledge to ‘hit the ground running’ as a competent and confident consultant

Completing the CELIFA course will show potential employers that you have the knowledge and skills to commence a role as a consultant within their brokerage. More than that, it will show that you have ‘put your money where your mouth is’ and had the confidence to invest in yourself. Good brokers employ confident consultants.

  • Give yourself confidence that you are doing everything right from Day One

Whilst becoming an accomplished International Financial Adviser takes time, being confident when you sit with your first prospects is invaluable. Your CELIFA training means that you will make mistakes in the training room rather than with your clients.

  • Avoid Being Blinkered by One Brokerage’s Perspective

Despite efforts to the contrary, it is unavoidable that each brokerage will have its own relationship with products and services and with product providers. Each brokerage has its own Factfind and working practices. The CELIFA course offers different perspectives on products, Factfinding and the markets in general, allowing the placed consultant to have a clearer view on product availability and the business process.

  • Learn and study before facing the pressure of doing the job itself

Learning to do anything ‘on-the-job’ can be costly. There will be enough in-house training to undertake when you start your job, as well as learning the names and faces of work colleagues and where to find things, without having to learn how to do the job itself. To stack the odds of success heavily in your favour, train before you catch your train!
